Seeking The Lord

Lord,

I want to serve You wholly
And live for only You...
Yet, I know I could do better
In the things I say and do.

Forgive me when I’m doubtful
Or feeling insecure…
When darkness falls upon me,
Lord, Your righteousness endures.

This earth can be ungodly
And it takes the strength You give...
To avoid the many pitfalls
In these latter days we live.

Each day I’ll truly seek You
And the peace I hope to find…
And as I feel Your presence
I will leave my cares behind.
